This was the age when hitting on a girl meant chasing her around the playground with a bug in your hand or telling her she was gross. I bady wanted to tell Winnie Cooper how gross she was.

Wonder Years was a program from the late 80s about growing up in the late 1960s.  If they were to make a similar show today about what it was like to grow up 20 years ago, it would be set in the time period we watched this show.  I feel old.

Emphasis mine.  It’s really painful when somone points out the truth.

Son of a fuck. It’s bad enough I noticed that kids born in the 90s have been buying cigarettes legally for more than a year—meaning The Simpsons, one of my favorite shows, is older than a large percentage of college underclassmen.

The first serious crush I ever had was on a guy who looked like Kevin Arnold.
